Katherine Watson was more focused on teaching the students about the things she saw important. She tried to get the girls to unlock their potential, while people like dickens wanted the basics to be taught. Dickens believed that everything should be taught the same and on point, just like the school wanted Katherine to teach her syllabus. Katherine taught the girls to think out of the box, and in this time, women thinking like that and being unique was unheard of. Women were meant to wifely things only, but Katherine taught them that they can be much more.

The theme or symbolizing detail from the movie I thought was the era of the movie. It took place back in a time when women were not expected to do much rather than just being wives. The time period was also good because it was when things were much simpler, back in that time divorces and such were unheard of and looked down upon. When now a days most marriages end in divorce. I just like the time of the movie, because like I said before it was just much more simple back then.

I feel like this movie is going to be about art. Nothing really I can say about it cause it just looks like snobby girls who try to smart mouth their teacher. I'm guessing the girls are going to learn the importance of art and they can be much more than they are, or whatever cliche stuff movies like this have. I guess learning art is a big thing for the woman of this time, and that it is something they enjoy doing.

The levels of testing are very different when it comes to College and High School. In high school teachers often review over the material with students and give tests frequently, while college tests are given in sparse amounts and cover more information. High school tests may seem easier because teachers work with you to make sure you know the material so you can graduate. While in College, professors don't care if you pass or come to class, they already have your money. However, in college, when tests are given less often it allows students to retain more of different information, and also they have more time to study for those tests. When in High school, you are expected to know the material in a week, but teachers continue to remind you of tests. Students are not given that luxury in college. So me saying which test is easier would be dumb because all students learn differently. Some are better test takers, which high school doesn't seem to see. So that's my blog.
